AYAM RICA-RICA (Fried Chicken in Red Chili Manado Style)

Sempat suatu hari mau bikin. Udah nitip belanja ayam sama emaknya kawan saya si Asih. Eeeeh, pagi-pagi ujan turun dengan derasnya. Gagal deh tuh si emaknya Asih pergi belanja. Mana tukang sayur langganan yang biasa lewat depan rumah ga jualan, mau ke pasar sendiri juga malas apalagi cuma buat beli ayam doang [kan ujan, ntar pasarnya becyeck, jadi benyeck-benyeck, mana ga ada ojyeck]. Dan.... gagal deh saya bikin ayam rica-rica :c
Akhirnya beberapa hari kemudian, tetep dengan modal ayam yang dibeli nitip sama emaknya Asih [saya emang paling ga hobby kalo disuruh belanja ke pasar], saya masak ayam ini sambil chatting ama Rurie. Setia banget si Rurie nemenin saya nguleg bumbu.hihihi.. [weks, masak kok sambil chatting?! --> ‘udah hobby sih, Buuu....’ :r ], gak terasa dalam waktu sekejap, jadi deh ayam rica-rica.
AYAM RICA-RICA (Fried Chicken in Red Chili Manado Style)
Ingredients: 1000 g chicken, cut into several pieces
3 tbsp lime juice
Salt
2 tsp oil
Oil for deep-frying
Spicy Paste: 8 tbsp sliced red chilies (saya pakai 15 cabe merah, biar pedes :D)
1 tbsp sliced garlic
4 tbsp sliced shallots
1 tsp sliced galangal
Salt
Ingredients:
3 tbsp lime juice
Salt
2 tsp oil
Oil for deep-frying
Spicy Paste:
1 tbsp sliced garlic
4 tbsp sliced shallots
1 tsp sliced galangal
Salt
Method: Put chicken in a bowl. Add lime juice and salt, marinate about 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and deep-fry chicken until lightly brown and set aside.
Blend all ingredients in spicy paste into a paste.
Put oil in a wok over medium heat, sauté the paste until fragrant. Add chicken, stir well until done.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
Serves: 10
One serving : 125 calories
