350 g daging sandung lamur, cut into cube
200 g string beans, cut
5 green chilies, cut
5 red chilies, cut
2 red tomatoes, cut into wedges
2 green tomatoes, cut into wedges
10 shallots, sliced
3 cloves garlic, sliced
2 salam leaf
tamarind, soak for 10 minute. Use only the juice.
2 knucklebone galangal (laos), bruised
Salt and pepper

1. Heat water in a large pot and add beef cubes and cook on low heat until the meat is tender. If the water level dropped too much, add hot water.
2. Sauté the shallots and garlic until fragrant. Bring to a boil broth.
3. Add the other ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until flavor of the spices have been absorbed.
4. Serve hot
